Make your employees' AI skills measurable

Companies buy AI licenses, provide training and communicate an AI-first direction. Yet one question remains: How well does my team actually use AI? Jobnest.ai measures office employees' AI readiness across eight dimensions with research-informed, role-based and proctored assessments.

AI is everywhere. Measurement is missing.

According to the Turkish AI Initiative's AI research, 33% of organizations in Türkiye run five or more AI projects. Investment is growing, but many organizations lack objective, role-based evidence of how effectively employees use AI at work. Training budgets are allocated without that evidence.

Measure. Discover. Develop.

Measure

Assess eight skill dimensions with scenario-based questions balanced across Bloom's taxonomy.

Discover

Look beyond surface-level knowledge with proctoring signals, a competency profile and AI feedback for individual questions.

Develop

Use reports alongside your ATS and HR systems to inform action plans and training decisions.

Use cases for your existing team

Establish an AI skills baseline

Measure your team's current AI readiness on a shared scale.

Map skills by department

See which dimensions each department needs to strengthen, from sales to finance.

Plan training by role

Direct training priorities and L&D budgets toward identified gaps instead of assigning everyone the same course.

Inform individual development plans

Give each employee's development plan a measurable starting point.

Track progress over time

Reassess after training to follow changes in skills.

How it works

  1. Assign assessments. HR assigns the Core AI Skills baseline and one or more specialist tests suited to the employee's role.
  2. The employee completes the tests. Four question formats use real workplace scenarios, with proctoring throughout the session.
  3. AI evaluates responses. Responses, including open-ended prompt writing, receive question-level evaluation and explanations.
  4. Review the report. Examine an executive summary, an eight-dimension competency profile and proctoring signals.
  5. Take action. Set training priorities and follow progress through periodic reassessment.

Eight AI skill dimensions

  • Critical thinking and evaluation
  • AI concepts and technical understanding
  • Applying AI tools
  • Responsible and ethical AI use
  • Workflow decisions and task delegation
  • Data literacy
  • Human–AI collaboration
  • Adaptability and continuous learning

Each assessment weights these dimensions according to role and seniority.

A methodology grounded in research

Competency model

Consistent measurement across eight areas that supports comparisons between roles (McClelland, 1973; Spencer & Spencer, 1993).

Bloom's taxonomy

Questions span six cognitive levels: remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate and create (Bloom, 1956; Anderson & Krathwohl, 2001).

Scenario-based design

Assess applied decisions in workplace situations rather than abstract knowledge alone (Lave & Wenger, 1991; Wiggins, 1990).

Psychometric checks

Systematic checks address option quality, answer-position distribution, bias and mapping to multiple competencies (Haladyna, Downing & Rodriguez, 2002).

Proctoring to support reliable results

Sessions record multiple proctoring signals. Reports flag suspicious activity for your review, while the decision remains with your team.

  • Webcam-based identity verification and face detection
  • Multiple-face and phone detection
  • Detection of tab switches, window changes and leaving fullscreen
  • Copy/paste, print and screenshot restrictions
  • Flags for unusually fast responses
  • Virtual-camera and frozen-frame detection

Reports that support action

  • Executive summary: Readiness, overall patterns and a summary score
  • Competency profile: A visual view of eight dimensions, strengths and gaps
  • Proctoring signals: Outcomes and event counts for each signal
  • Question-level review: Scores, correct answers and AI explanations

Turkish content and data protection

Localized content and disclosure notices support Türkiye's KVKK requirements. Employees receive information before webcam proctoring, and results are accessible only to authorized HR and management roles. See our privacy policy.

Frequently asked questions

What is an employee AI skills assessment?

It measures how effectively, accurately and responsibly existing employees use AI at work through role-based workplace scenarios. Jobnest.ai covers eight competency dimensions.

Which roles have assessments?

Everyone can take the Core AI Skills baseline of 24 questions in approximately 24 minutes. Specialist assessments cover sales, marketing, customer success, finance, HR, L&D, operations, leadership, banking business analysis, frontend and backend development, and tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

How do you support reliable results?

Sessions record multiple proctoring signals, including face, multiple-face and phone detection, tab and window changes, copy/paste restrictions, unusually fast responses and virtual cameras. Reports flag suspicious signals for HR review.

How does this differ from candidate assessment?

It uses the same competency model, but focuses on the existing workforce's AI skills baseline, training priorities and development over time. For hiring, see our candidate assessment tests.

How is employee data handled?
